Day Nineteen 13th July 2010 - Reverse Journey

5000 Kms stood between us and home sweet home, it would begin with a 500km dash to Gaborone it was to be Francistown initially but due to shopping commitments...yes we did do shopping for you guys....at least most of you i think :-)

Destination Eastgate shopping mall in Joburg for gifts and gifts and more gifts....am even afraid to look at my bank balance and credit card bill

Eastgate shopping mall rooftop parking.....what lay underneath was shops and shops and more shops....we even got lost looking for our car

And China Mall for buying the cheap stuff.......which was like 10% of the gifts or was it????

At exactly 1700hours in Joburg it was time to hit the freeway destination Gaborone, we did go through Pretoria and Rustenburg on the way to the border. We arrived a few minutes after 9pm and we were quickly processed and we were on our way to Gaborone.

Changing Rands to Botswana Pula...Convenience at it's best

Bimbo's in Botswana equivalent to Kenchic but those tiny kukus and fries of theirs cannot hack it back home.....

Driver of the day - Jomo getting us to Gaborone early enough to catch some much needed sleep before we traverse Botswana the next day.

Getting Lost Yet Again - We couldn't trace our Guest House for the second time running in Gaborone, thanks to a police officer and a filling station attendant we did.
